Ebay Racism: Humiliating Black Women is not "OFFENSIVE" to EBAY

EBAY actually has rules about "offensive materials." You can't sell material that maligns a particular ethnic or racial group. You can't sell "I love the KKK" t-shirts. But you CAN pretend black women have posed lewdly so white sellers can make money off them.

There are a dozen creepy white guys in the "Adults Only" area of EBAY selling fake nudes of famous black celebrities. Almost all are billed as REAL. If you click "report this item," and direct your complaint to the "Offensive Materials" employees, they just laugh.

HOW many years has it been since D.W. Griffith made the silent film "Intolerance?" Isn't this item "marketed inappropriately," by a) having no signed model release of age or consent, and b) demeaning for sexual pleasure a woman who did not pose this way?

Shouldn't eBay understand that "sexual orientation" (or simply being FEMALE) is no reason for abuse-for-profit? Shouldn't eBay care that a black woman's "race or ethnic background" is making her a target for racist whites who get a sexual thrill out of seeing her stripped like a slave and paraded like a pickaninny whore?

Why is it OK to run this and another 50 other demeaning pictures of Beyonce or Rihanna or Halle Berry (among others)? Haven't we learned by now that "no means no" and "without consent" means "don't do it"?

Yes, "Do Not Copy" appears on pictures craven parasites have downloaded off obscure, woman-degrading porn websites and grind through an Epson printer for a lousy $3.88 sale.

EBAY is that desperate for their 10% of $3.88? And PAYPAL, too? The "adults only" area of EBAY is loaded with RIHANNA AND BEYONCE abuses. The sad thing is that pervs and racists no where to find this crap, but a lawyer or manager for Rihanna or Beyonce wouldn't see this if they just go to EBAY.COM and type the name in. They'd need to specifically go to the "adults only" area to log in. (How you do that is explained at the end of this post).

Let's remember that in the REAL world, in the offices of EBAY workers in Draper, UTAH and the offices of EBAY executives in San Jose, CALIFORNIA, if some guy wandered around showing off fake nudes of female employees, he'd be fired, if not arrested.

But on the Internet? With EBAY making a percentage? It's OK. Turn the black woman into a stripped slave girl. Imagine rich and famous stars in totally undignified poses, and with most of them insisting the pictures are REAL. How many years has it been since John Lennon sang "WOMAN IS THE NIGGER OF THE WORLD?"

This website is still waiting, and hoping, that we'll be able to report that EBAY will strengthen it's rules on the duplication of celebrity photos and the abuse of "celebrity porn," and BAN THIS MATERIAL.

It should not be up to Rihanna or Beyonce or Halle to know there's a secret area of EBAY, to have to go and look at demeaning and hurtful images, and spend time filing takedown requests on the grounds of "intellectual property" violation. These images are a violation Federal law (no signed model release of age and consent) and a violation of DIGNITY.

The pictures above are the "nicer" ones, by the way. Many others are overt in Photoshopping the women in poses involving bondage and gang bangs and urophilia. And, no, that stuff is NOT in violation of Ebay rules per se, and maybe that's ok if the performers have SIGNED model releases of consent. What consenting adults do is different from tricking up celebrity images with NO consent.

Ask your State Senator why EBAY is breaking Federal law. Ask eBay at   866-540-3229

NOTE: to access the "ADULTS ONLY" area of EBAY, go to:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Everything-Else/99/i.html
And type in ADULTS ONLY

NOTE: to send a takedown on an item you must be a VeRo rep. The hoop is only this: actress, agent, manager or friend signs a form saying they are authorized. After that, simply cut and paste the offending auction number and send to: vero@ebay.com
