Goop Scoop: Gwyneth Paltrow Visually Raped on EBAY

In eBay's secret sex den, a variety of sellers are making money pretending Gwyneth Paltrow (and most every other woman you can name) has posed naked. Or in hardcore.

Any day, you'll find over 40 images of top stars like Ms. Paltrow

Some time back, I called up the manager of a TEENAGE STAR. I said, "Would you please stop the porn images on your client? Ebay is loaded with them."

She said, "You're crazy. There are NO nude photos of her on eBAY!"

I said, "Are you registered on eBay? Yes? Then do this. Go to the front page of the site. Press the SEARCH BUTTON."

"Now, look among the categories for ADULTS ONLY. Most perverts have this category bookmarked."

"All right. You're at ADULT ONLY? Type in your clients name. Your under-age superstar. Now what do you see?"

Her response was "OH....MY....GOD...."

The good news? She contacted vero@ebay.com, downloaded their forms, jumped through their hoops, and got the takedowns.

The bad news: YOU, and most celebrities have NO IDEA this stuff is being sold, and that not only are popular stars at risk, but ANY woman is. ANY woman can be sold on eBAY.

Sellers offer ex-girlfriend pictures, "wife" pictures, upskirt images, Peeping Tom images, faked images...and eBay hides behind being "just a venue" and won't patrol their own site. The items above? They are in violation of FEDERAL LAW. These sellers have NO SIGNED MODEL RELEASE OF AGE OR CONSENT.

Ebay shrugs. They say it's up to Gwyneth Paltrow to know there's an adult section, to go in there and type her name, and to then cut and paste the auction numbers and send them in. PS, if she does, the items are removed BUT THE SELLER IS NOT SUSPENDED AND CAN PREY ON THE 100 OTHER WOMEN HE'S SELLING.

Isn't it time EBAY stops abusing women, and obeys FEDERAL LAW? Check other entries on this site for more. You will find DISTURBING images of Sarah Michelle Geller and Kate Middleton and many others. You'll see how sellers deliberately humiliate and invade the privacy of women for profit (for themselves and EBAY). Click the links on the left and also note entries where other sites, such as REDDIT and TWITTER have responsibly banned what EBAY STILL ALLOWS.

CHUCK SCHUMER: HERE'S AMY SCHUMER ABUSED ON EBAY

This seller, with over 1,000 different auctions on eBay, loves to offer what he calls a "parody" image. This is one on AMY SCHUMER, who is related to Sen. Charles Schumer of New York.

An interesting question for Senator Schumer is: why isn't EBAY obeying FEDERAL LAW?

The image above, in black, is from an EBAY ad. A responsible seller of porn in the "adults only" section wants to make sure people obey the law. He points out the responsibility of the bidder.

He also points out that his item (professionally made DVD, magazine, whatever) features people who have CONSENTED to have their images sold.

It seems that EBAY is not exactly obeying FEDERAL LAW with auctions of celebrity nudes. None of the images below have the CONSENT of the actresses involved.

None of the sellers of this material (such as the above) state they have a signed model release of age and consent.

Consider that professional pornographers DO have signed releases on file, and that NONE of them would sell the images above pretending that they were real.

866-540-3229 is eBay customer service number. I've called them. I've spoken to female employees and directed them to accounts of visual rapists like the above.

I've said, "What would happen if an eBay employee started circulating photos of female employees, Photoshopped to be naked? Wouldn't that be considered grounds for dismissal? Isn't it harassment? Isn't it "offensive materials?"

If eBay policy is to not allow KKK material, Nazi material, or material that humiliates a particular race or religion, why aren't WOMEN protected?

I get, "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will forward your complaint." To nowhere.

The fact remains, eBay is not "just a venue" as they claim. They have hundreds of rules specifically regarding what can NOT be sold on their site. This list (which you can find on another page of this website) includes everything from chloroform to used panties. Why not nude photos of celebrities that don't have a verifiable document stating age and consent?

Why should women be victimized on eBay by people uploading pictures of an ex-girlfriend without her knowledge, or Photoshopped misogyny that treats famous women as nothing but sluts and whores?

Try calling 866-540-3229.  Try asking an eBay employee why "Celebrity Nude" auctions don't obey Federal Law:

Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257A: all models, actors, actresses, performers and/or other persons who appear in any visual depiction or “sexually explicit conduct” (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256).

The Purpose of this law is to protect under-aged girls, to protect women from Peeping Toms with cameras, to protect anyone from being exploited without their knowledge or consent. And yet, EBAY spits on this law EVERY DAY.

Check the links on the right and see some of the other examples of how famous women are deliberately degraded for the profit and amusement of very sick people. EBAY TAKES A PERCENTAGE AND SO DOES PAYPAL.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE? ARE YOU A SLUT? A VICTIM? OR A LIBERATED WOMAN? TELL EBAY "NO TO FAKE NUDES"

Jennifer Lawrence decided to pose half-naked for "Glamour" magazine to call attention to how women are objectified and abused.

Meanwhile, 70 auctions on eBay make fun of her, and her "sisters," dozens of other high-profile actresses. The ones you see in postings below.

Here's Jennifer getting a headline today:

And here is just SOME of what you'll find in eBay's secret "adult" section today:

What will stop this, Jennifer? What will prevent people from profiting from fake nude images of you and other celebrities?

What you and the others need to do is have a website, a Facebook page, a Twitter account where you can actually be contacted. OR...

A manager/lawyer who will say, "Damn, this is outrageous, I will send a DMCA to vero@ebay.com and make sure an intern or a fan monitors eBay to prevent more abuse."

What would be most helpful is if EBAY STOPPED VIOLATING FEDERAL LAW:

Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257A: all models, actors, actresses, performers and/or other persons who appear in any visual depiction or “sexually explicit conduct” (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256).

Sellers MUST have a signed model release stating age and consent. Where, next to these images of Jennifer Lawrence, is her signature on a document stating she has agreed to the sales of the photos, and that the photos are compliant with Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257a of Federal Law?

What is going on with EBAY and their sneaky private "adult section" is a violation of Federal Law and common sense.

EBAY should have a "report this item" link for: ADULT MATERIAL WITHOUT SIGNED MODEL RELEASE OF AGE AND CONSENT.

Sellers should not be allowed to offer any nude pictures without stating: "I have signed model releases and I state this under penalty of perjury and suspension. If this auction is reported and I can not fax a signed statement on legal stationery from the woman in the photo, I accept suspension."

If Jennifer Lawrence had a VeRO rep and a Facebook or Twitter account, the SEVENTY items on her would be gone. If EBAY had a sane and legal policy where anyone could report an auction that violates law on age and consent, these items would be GONE.

ASHLEY JUDD, the feminist: USED by EBAY SELLERS via Fake Nudes

It would be helpful of Ashley Judd, or some other feminist actress with a lot of influence, would put in a call to eBay and ask why THIS is allowed:

Shouldn't pictures like this require a seller to state, UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY, that they have signed model releases of age and consent? And shouldn't those model releases be included in the ad?

At the moment, eBay will remove an item like this if Ashley Judd or a representative asks...provided THEY fill out a form stating that the material is NOT authorized. (vero@ebay.com)

We believe that no stars, and no women (the ones on those "500 hot chicks on a CD-R" items loaded with material stolen from "revenge porn" websites) should have to jump through eBay hoops.  FEDERAL LAW:

Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257A: all models, actors, actresses, performers and/or other persons who appear in any visual depiction or “sexually explicit conduct” (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256).

Sellers MUST have a signed model release stating age and consent. Where in these ads, is Judd's signature on a document stating she has agreed to the sales of the photos, and that the photos are compliant with Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257a of Federal Law?

Elizabeth Gillies and "Offensive Materials"

Ebay has rules against "Offensive Materials" that demean a race or religion. But not women.

Somehow, imagining female celebrities raped is ok with EBAY?

Is it really asking so much of a website that already has quite a few rules and regulations of common sense and morality, to stop letting sick, nickel-and-dime misogynists get away with this?

It's also in violation of Federal law regarding pornographic materials that require a signed model release of age and consent.

Where, next to this image is her signature on a document stating she has agreed to the sales of the photos, and that the photos are compliant with Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257a of Federal Law?

Twitter Bans Porn Without Consent - EBAY does not

Today's news is that Twitter has banned "revenge porn."

On eBay, this is fine.

Why is Twitter more moral than Ebay? Is it because Ebay makes more money off this material?

Here's a typical fake image on Katy Perry that an eBay seller is making money on, without stating that there's a signed form of consent. This is one of the milder images. Check the postings below for much worse on such a wide range of women, from underage actresses to the President's wife.

Where, next to the Katy Perry image, is her signature on a document stating she has agreed to the sales of the photos, and that the photos are compliant with Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257a of Federal Law?

The uploader should get a form letter stating: "You have nude photos with NO statement of age or consent. Provide this or remove the material." When it comes to obvious violations, such as Photoshopped nude celebrity or "leaked celebrity" images, they should be removed instantly, as well as the "ha ha, look at the drunk naked girl" pix or "my girlfriend naked, sleeping." In the latter two cases, people can find other things to post if they desperately need to amuse strangers.

REDDIT RIDS IT - EBAY HAS NOT

This website would LOVE to report that EBAY has done what REDDIT just did.

The CEO at Reddit is a woman. Her name is Ellen Pao. Her statement: "No matter who you are, if a photograph, video, or digital image of you in a state of nudity, sexual excitement, or engaged in any act of sexual conduct, is posted or linked to on Reddit without your permission, it is prohibited on Reddit."

How about FEDERAL LAW, too. Shouldn't all websites obey it?

Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257A: all models, actors, actresses, performers and/or other persons who appear in any visual depiction or “sexually explicit conduct” (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256).

Sellers MUST have a signed model release stating age and consent. Professional porn (Hustler, Playboy, Vivid Video etc.) all have this material on file, and say so. And yet EBAY allows any parasitic pervert to Photoshop images of stars, or dupe stolen/hacked nude photos, and sell them...WITHOUT A SIGNED AGREEMENT OF AGE AND CONSENT. Isn't that just plain AGAINST THE LAW?
