#ME TOO - EBAY ALLOWS ABUSE & REVENGE PORN ON PEOPLE YOU KNOW

How do you stop "REVENGE PORN?"

It should be EASY on EBAY: insist that only professionally made porn is allowed. That means the magazines and DVDs from companies that COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW and have a SIGNED DOCUMENT OF AGE AND CONSENT ON FILE.

Do THESE two eBay sellers say they comply? NO, THEY DO NOT. They pretend to have "found" pictures of naked women and so they decide they'll sell them WITHOUT CONSENT. They take "Revenge Porn" off the Internet, download it, grind it through a printer on photo paper, and don't care who they embarrass and humiliate.

"I took the photo" isn't the same as "I have a signed model release." "Found" photo isn't the same as AUTHORIZED.

Ebay has, ever since it arrived, played the game of letting parasites copy off any photo they please. They make dupes of copyrighted images, of celebrity photos, and then it's up to the copyright owner to spend hours a week checking eBay for violations and submitting a DMCA. Celebrities often have to pay "Grayzone" and "Web Sheriff" outfits hundreds of dollars to protect themselves from Photoshop fakes that insane fans think are real. "Hey here's this spread shot of you, please sign it..." or "I saw you do it with a bunch of guys in a photo somebody was selling on eBay. I know where you live and I will be coming over. You will do it with me or else..."

EBAY should not be encouraging stalking, invasion of privacy, or REBECCA SCHAEFFER tragedies. Who was Rebecca Schaeffer? She was on the CBS sitcom "My Sister Sam" and she was SHOT and KILLED by "a fan who had been stalking her." That quote is from Wikipedia: "a fan who had been stalking her."

Ebay's reckless allowance of Photoshop fakes on celebrities, and "girlfriend" and revenge porn on ANY AND EVERY WOMAN....must STOP.  It shouldn't be up to you, your mother, somebody's wife, somebody's sister to check EBAY, of all places, to see if somebody is faking a nude picture or selling something stolen or otherwise unauthorized.

EBAY needs to have a simple rule: if it's NOT professionally made, it's NOT ALLOWED. The irony is that EBAY has a half-assed rule against amateur VIDEOS (not photos) and against "voyeur" and "upskirt" iimages, but not junk like the two items below.
