Here is the law, which should apply to EBAY:
Sellers of pornography must have SIGNED LETTERS OF AGE AND CONSENT:
Title 18, Sections 2257 and 2257A: all models, actors, actresses, performers and/or other persons who appear in any visual depiction or “sexually explicit conduct” (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256).

Yet EBAY flaunts the law. EBAY allows sellers such as web-slinger127 to steal images off the Internet, steal pornographic photos, steal celebrity photos, and run auctions claiming fakes are real.
Here are some of the over 200 auctions web-slinger127 is running right now. Ask yourself: would you trust the mentality of people who are bidding on fake photos thinking they are real?
Someone who believes he has a photo of Selena Gomez spread-eagled, may also believe Selena Gomez will pose that way for him. Or else. This is how stalkers get ideas.
"Legitimate" pornographers, ones who sell magazines and DVDs and Internet downloads of photo sets, all have a notice on their websites declaring that they have SIGNED MODEL RELEASES OF AGE AND CONSENT on file.
Does web-slinger127 offer any statement of consent? NO
The photo, which is a fraud, is presented as REAL:
The ad copy? Again, nothing to say that SELENA GOMEZ signed a model release on this.
Ebay, which has a big list of items BANNED from sale, including "OFFENSIVE MATERIALS," sees nothing wrong with this auction that does not state age or consent or compliance with United States law:
There is no excuse for EBAY not to obey FEDERAL LAW. Whether an eBay seller offers these things as real, as "celebrity look-alikes" or as "parody" (as some do...considering a lewd mock-up a "parody") they ALL should conform to U.S. Law, which states there has to be a signed model release of age and consent.
We hope that eBay will do the right thing and add "celebrity look-alike" "parody" and "nude celebrity" items to their BANNED list so that any eBayer who sees them can report them. EBAY sells plenty of porn in their "adults" section, and in fact, plenty of nude photos in their "general" section (where even kids can click NAKED PHOTO and see plenty). They don't need these degrading, humiliating and illegal abuses from web-slinger127 and the others.
